Choosing a wedding hairstyle is important. After all, you're going to remember it for the rest of your life so you want to make sure it's totally right for you (and the dress, naturally). The aim is to choose an elegant style that makes you look and feel like the best version of yourself. What that means is choosing a hairstyle that fits with your usual style, only looks a little more polished than your regular day-to-day 'do.
This simple yet very pretty headband updo is a great option for anyone who enjoys a braid but doesn't want anything too complicated. There's enough detail to make the style interesting but it's not going to overwhelm anything. It's what you might call balanced.

What you need:
Step one: Scrunch some volume mousse through freshly washed, damp hair then blow-dry. This will give your locks a soft, silky finish and help to boost volume.
Step two: Part your hair on one side using a tail comb.
Step three: Pull your headband down over the hair as you normally would. Roll and tuck the lengths over the back of the headband. Pin where necessary to hold the headband in place.
Step four: Using a fishtail technique, braid the lengths of hair and secure at the ends with a small hair tie.
Step five: Mist all over with finishing spray. This will add extra shine to your look and make sure the style stays put all day long.
