Is there a more glamorous evening than New Years Eve? The night traditionally calls for sequins, glitter and serious smoky eyes paired with a bold lipstick that will have all eyes on you. Now that we've offered you outfit ideas along with makeup inspiration to go with it, Get The Look is giving you 3 glamorous hairstyle ideas to go with your look!

NEW YEARS EVE: 3 GLAMOROUS HAIRSTYLES

VOLUMINOUS PONYTAIL

If you have medium to long hair, take advantage of it by pulling your hair into a full, voluminous ponytail like Ashlee Simpson's.

To get this look, apply a volumizing gel onto damp locks, then focus volume onto the roots. Use a diffuser to dry your hair then use a large barrel curling iron to curl large sections of the hair, starting at your ears and working your way down to your ends. Secure your hair into a ponytail with an elastic, then use your fingers to create more volume towards the top of your head. Finish off with a volumizing hairspray and voila!

THE WET LOOK

The wet hair look has been making major waves in 2016 on red carpets and runways alike. So why not use NYE as an opportunity to rock the trend?

To get the look, use a flat iron to straighten your hair after spraying it with a heat protective spray. Then, mix a few drops of serum, oils and gel together then apply it onto your roots. Use a brush to brush the hair to the back of your head starting at your hairline. Finish off with a shine-finish hairspray to complete the look!

THE TOUSLED CHIGNON

If you want to leave your shoulders bare (to show off that gorgeous off-the-shoulder gown) opt for a tousled chignon that gives you a slightly romantic look mixed with a little boho!

To re-create this look, start by bringing your hair back into a low ponytail and use an elastic to secure it into a dishevelled bun. Then, use your fingers to release a few locks of hair out from around your face, allowing them to sit next to your ears for a slightly tousled, romantic look. Work a texturizing paste into your hair for the perfect finish!
