Medium-length hairstyles are enjoying a real moment in the spotlight right now, and at the Oscars this Sunday, Naomi Watts proved once again why they're the best of all worlds. Her shoulder grazing, wavy bob cut softened her overall look and complimented her pretty pastel makeup perfectly.
To recreate her style, just follow the tutorial below!

Starting with freshly washed, towel-dried hair, apply a curl enhancing mousse evenly throughout. Use a comb to ensure good coverage.
Rough dry you hair with your blow-dryer on a medium heat setting until it's only slightly damp.
Take a medium-sized piece of hair and twist it. Hold the twisted hair by the ends and blow-dry it completely.
Repeat step three all around your head until your hair is totally dry. You don't have to twist and dry every part of your hair, just enough to create loose waves throughout.
When your hair is completely dry, part it deep on one side with a wide-tooth comb. Then, gently comb the hair through on either side to fix the part in place.
Scrunch some salt spray into the mid-lengths and ends of your hair to add more texture. For a really beachy look, add some matte putty, too.
Complete the look with a generous amount of hairspray to give your waves long-lasting hold and to help keep flyaways at bay.
