  • Potentially the way to deal with the hairstyle you actualy did just wake up with...

Ponytails tend to be a reliable hairstyle trend from season to season and for Spring 2015, a low pony positioned at the nape of the neck seems to be THE look to go for. Low ponytails are flattering on everyone and they're a great way to keep long hair under control, making this particular trend very easy to adopt!

The long hairstyle that can do anything

Low ponies can be worn in several different ways, depending on the texture of your hair and the kind of style you're going for.

Depending on your mood, you can keep it simple and straight, braid it, curl it, crimp it... it's totally up to you. Just don't forget the heat protection products!

Tousled waves
Starting with dry hair, apply salt spray throughout, really scrunching it in to encourage natural, beachy waves. Gather your hair back into a loose ponytail once you're happy with the texture. To add volume, tease the pony with a fine-tooth comb.

Smooth and sleek
Apply a straightening cream to dry hair and flat iron. Smooth all of the hair back into a pony, then finish with hairspray to keep flyaways at bay.

Hi-def curls
Before styling a pony, define your natural curls by applying a curl-enhancing spray to damp hair, then leave your locks to air dry. If you don't have much time, speed things up with your blow-dryer and a diffuser attachment, then finish with a serum.

How will you rock a low pony this season?
