It's with good reason that Chiara Ferragni is one of the most influential bloggers around. Better known as 'The Blonde Salad', the Italian fashionista is a real source of inspiration for the millions following her on her various social media outlets. And this young lady is not just a big name when it comes to style, she is just as known for her impeccable appearance and make-up. On the streets of The Big Apple, her braided hair really caught our eye. And, the good news, it's super easy to recreate!
Want to get Chiara's look and play blogger for the day? Here's how...
I want Chiara's middle part braid
Like Chiara Ferrangni, start with making sure your hair is as soft and easy to work with as possible. Begin by misting your hair with heat protection spray before straightening it with a flat iron.
Create two parts in the middle of your hair to isolate the section that you will later braid. You might want to secure the hair on each side into pigtails to make it easier to work on the center section.
Divide the isolated section of hair into 3 equal parts. Begin braiding towards the back of the head incorporating smaller sections of hair as you go (this will keep the braid flat against your middle part).
Once you have completed the braid, use a discreet elastic (a transparent elastic is ideal) to secure the braid in place.
In order to avoid fly away hair, don't forget to use some hairspray on the final look.
There you have it, a new and original way to reinvent the traditional braid!
