At the HOME premiere this weekend, Rihanna rocked up with a high, messy bun hairstyle that we absolutely had to steal for our own hairstyle repertoires. It's a simple updo, but one that pretty much has it all: texture, bangs, a sleek flyaway-free finish... what's not to love?
To find out how to recreate RiRi's style, just follow the tutorial below!

Towel dry your hair and then spritz it throughout with a heat protection spray. Comb your hair through to get the best possible coverage as this will minimize heat damage.
Section your hair into three sections: bangs, top, and bottom.
Using your blow dryer with the concentrator attachment, start by drying your bangs as smoothly as possible. Blow them out to one side, then the other, then straight down, using a paddle brush to keep the hair straight.
Once your bangs are dry, continue on to the bottom section before finishing with the top. If you have flyaways, smooth them with a little hair oil.
Clip your bangs out of the way, then use your brush to smooth the rest of your hair up into a high ponytail at the top of your head.
Spritz the ponytail with a volumizing spray and gently tease it to create volume and texture. Split the hair into three or four sections and wrap it around the base of the ponytail to form a bun. When you're done, secure the bun with bobby pins.
Unclip your bangs and arrange them across your forehead. Mist your completed style with strong-hold hairspray and you're all set!
