The Cannes Film Festival is turning out to be a veritable gold mine of hairstyle inspiration for both women and men. Some of Hollywood's best groomed (and most talented, of course) have been spotted at numerous photocalls and red carpet premieres with some particularly suave looks. From man of action Ryan Reynolds to first-time director Ryan Gosling, they've proved themselves – and their hair – worthy of the most prestigious film festival on the planet. Even Channing Tatum scrubbed up pretty well!
Scroll through the photo gallery and who knows, you might get inspired to try a slick red carpet look of your own... even if you're lacking the red carpet upon which to wear it.
Next to his impossibly glamorous wife, Blake Lively, Mr. Reynolds make quite the show-stopping appearance at the Captives screening with a low-shine groomed look. Mere hours before, however, he attended a photocall with an effortless daytime style, complete with a little rolled wave. Perhaps it was natural, perhaps it wasn't, either way it looked good.
Ryan Gosling's hair told a similar story. Both his red carpet and photocall looks were pulled-together but not overdone. Can that man do no wrong?
Robert Pattinson, another confirmed if reluctant "heartthrob", was seen with a short-ish barbershop fade. This style could be written off as a little harsh but, with the little twist at the front, it was a good fit for his prominent eyebrows and perma-stubble.
The Doctor Who who is no more AKA Matt Smith attended the Lost River premiere with a tousled style, finished with a low-shine gum. The product afforded plenty of control but didn't make the hair appear overdone. These things are important if you're sharing a red carpet with Mr. The Notebook after all...
Lastly there's Channing Tatum who went for a tried and true classic – a groomed side sweep. It's a style that suits a lot of people, it's ideal for a formal occasion and Jon Hamm does it. You just can't go wrong!
Out of this well turned-out bunch, whose hair would you copy?
