Paris Fashion Week Autumn/Winter 2016-17 has come to an end. After 9 intense days of shuffling around backstage and packing in front row, our fashionistas have checked out of their boutique hotels and returned home.
We saw plenty of inspiring looks on the runway, but there's one from the street we simply can't ignore: pink hair coloring! Let's take a closer look at this bold trend...
La Vie en Rose
Pop and pastel hair colors have been gaining a lot of traction over the last few seasons among beauty lovers and we have to admit we've been tempted to take the plunge ourselves! As this trend shows no sign of slowing down, the time to try it might very well be right now!
50 Shades of Pink
Whether you choose a bold flamingo pink or a softer smokey pink, there's seemingly a pink for everyone. Dark pinks pair well with neutral, medium complexions while pale skin tones are best complemented by lighter cotton-candy shades. Of course, it really all comes down to a matter of preference, but the biggest decision you'll have to make is if you can really commit to this eye-catching shade!
If you have anything darker than light blonde hair, you'll need to rely on a hair lightening treatment to get your locks pale enough. Then there's the matter of touch ups, which you'll likely have to do every 2-4 weeks depending on how quickly your hair grows.
No matter what color you dye your hair, make sure you switch over your haircare to include color-safe products. These will help replenish the moisture that chemicals from dye can strip from your locks, all while helping your color stay vibrant for even longer!
