Don't let root growth cramp your style!

Freshly colored hair always feels amazing, but it doesn't last forever. Root growth will eventually start to show and you'll need a few sneaky hairstyle tricks to see you through until your next salon appointment. Check out the easy tips and tricks below to help conceal your roots and keep your dyed hair looking as good as new!

1/ Rock beachy waves

Tousled waves add volume and movement to your hair, both at the root and through the lengths, which does a great job of minimizing an unintentional ombre look. To get the look, simply spritz your mane with a wave enhancing heat protectant and blow-dry it in twisted sections. Once dried, use a volumizing hairspray to lift the hair the root.

2/ Move your part

If you tend to wear your part in the exact same place everyday, you may find the hair around it can start to appear flat. In turn, this can make your roots look way darker than they really are. To prevent this, try switching up the location every now and then to revive your signature hairstyle.

3/ Apply dry shampoo

Lackluster day two tresses will only help to darken your roots even further so keep a can of dry shampoo on hand to refresh your hair between washes. Apply it to the roots then brush your hair out to rejuvenate your whole style.

4/ Embrace headbands

It may sound pretty obvious, but a cute headband or headpiece is the easiest way to hide your roots, and it'll also come in handy when don't have time to wash your hair, too!
